TITLE OF POST: HR MANAGER
HOURS: FULL-TIME
REPORTING: HEADS OF HUMAN RESOURCES
CONTRACT TYPE: MATERNITY LEAVE COVER
We are currently recruiting for the position of Human Resource
Manager. The role encompasses, employee relations, policy development,
training & development, performance management and recruitment.
_PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES_
* To assist the Head of HR with employee relations issues, such as
disciplinary and grievance, absence, performance management;
* Conducting initial investigations into potential breaches of the
Peter McVerry Trust Code of Conduct;
* Provision of HR services to the management and staff of Peter
McVerry Trust working in partnership with the HR Team;
* Proactively provide advice and guidance to managers and staff;
* Proactively provide advice and guidance on aspects of employment
law;
* Follow through on probationary period management;
* Assist the Head of HR with a training need analysis for the Peter
McVerry Trust;
* Manage HR systems and administrative systems;
* Participate as part of the HR Team design and drive improvements
in HR Strategy, Polices and Procedures in line with best practice and
sectoral requirements.
_REQUIREMENTS_
* 6 years + relevant HR experience ideally at generalist level.
* Masters in Human Resource Management is essential.
* 3 years + experience of conducting investigations.
* Proficient working knowledge of all aspects of human resources,
including but not limited to compensation and benefits, employee
relations, employment law, leadership and talent management, training
and HRM systems.
* Experience of working in a dynamic team
* Solid working knowledge of MS Office.
* Have the ability to deal with sensitive information in a
confidential manner
* high levels of organisation skills, a strong work ethic, attention
to detail and be process driven.

capable of building strong relationships both internally within the
Peter McVerry?and with external providers.
